Council has a vacancy for a Full Time Administration Officer to undertake duties at Council’s Jamestown Office, and/or Gladstone and Spalding Offices as required, to commence immediately.

The position will undertake a range of duties including: front reception and other administration/finance duties as directed by the Manager Corporate Services and Finance/Payroll Officer.

Experience with reception duties, a working knowledge of Local Government administration and experience with Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook is desirable.

A driver’s license is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo on the job and external training as required. A probation period would be in accordance with the SA Municipal Salaried Officers Award.
