Laura Futures Proposed Projects

The Laura Futures Reference Group invites you to provide feedback and help prioritise a range of proposed community projects.

The projects have been developed through a community forum, ideas workshop, community survey, and further work by the project committee. A community drop-in session was also held on 28 October 2026 to gather feedback. This survey has been created to ensure as many community members as possible have the opportunity to share their views before recommendations are made.

The State Government's funding guidelines require us to focus on projects that will deliver the greatest benefit to Laura and the wider community. When considering the projects, think about which ones will have the biggest positive impact, such as improving local facilities, supporting community wellbeing, attracting visitors, creating opportunities, and helping the town grow into the future.

The guidelines also require us to consider whether projects are achievable and ready to proceed. Projects with a clear purpose, strong community support, realistic costs, identified funding opportunities, and practical delivery timeframes should be given higher priority.

Your feedback will help inform recommendations to Council and the State Government.
