Dog & Cat Registration Renewals 2020/21

Reminder that dog and cat registration renewals will be issued in the first week of July. If any of the details for your animal’s registration have changed or your animal is deceased please contact Margie at the Council office as soon as possible so that the DACO records can be updated. Also remember that dogs that are both desexed and microchipped attract lower registration fees. Although Council does not charge fees for cat registrations all cats must be entered into the DACO system and their details kept up to date when renewal notices are issued by logging into your www.dogsandcatsonline.com.au profile using the renewal code included on the notice.

Breeder Registration

All dog and cat breeders must be registered. It’s the law. Did you know you can check whether the person you’re buying from is a registered breeder? You can search the state-wide breeder database and dog and cat register at www.dogsandcatsonline.com.au Select ‘Search Breeders and Sellers’. It’s easy. Breeders advertising animals for sale must include their breeder registration (DACO) number in any advertisements.  #DogAndCatLaws
