Northern Areas Council has an exciting opportunity for a Community Development and Growth Officer to promote our district and work to implement Council’s economic development priorities.
You will work in a rewarding team environment undertaking a range of roles including:
- Develop strong working relationships with community groups
- Coordinate a range of communication channels including website, social media, newsletters etc.
- Promote Council activities and services across a range of communication channels.
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to promote development, investment, tourism and jobs in the region.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively deliver economic development and marketing projects
- Strong understanding of regional economic development opportunities
